Cat paw prints on my hood.
Not much luck in searching however does anybody have any tips on keeping cats off the hood of your Z or any car for that matter?
Unfortunately I have to park mine outside and in the morning I usually see a trail of muddy paw prints every morning. I usually take the time to just wash them off. However its becoming a pain in the ****. Does anybody have any tips besides shooting them to keep them off your car?
Thanks

I cant think of a reason why the cat would like your car. Are you sure that the cat has not marked the wheels? Animals do not like moth *****. Not sure where I might put them.
I've had issues with cats getting on my 240sx and Z...they always seem to get on when I return home. Guess they like the warmth from the engine?
I really know of no good tips to keep them off though. If you have your car slick from the wax chances are they will use their claws and leave some scratches. Outdoor cats are the animal I despise the most.

It's probably because when you get home at night the hood of your car is nice and warm...
Shoot the cat or car cover? Or get an alarm that super sensitive so when the cat jumps on your car it scares the **** out of it. It will probably stay away after that...

had same problem which was driving me nuts. However, i placed a large water bottle on the windshield (resting on a wiper)and took care of the problem. For some reason, cats hate bottled water

You just bought back a memory of a neighbor that lived in my apartment building who shot and killed this ladies cat for scratching his black trans am's hood numerous times. He panicked and threw the dead cat up on top of the apartment building. Sad thing about it is she tacked fliers around the complex with a reward for the cat. It could clearly be seen on the roof when driving into the lot. Ha Ha....
