Default How do I fix this?

I washed my car today, and noticed that there was some marks on the paint. As if it were an outline of grass and such. I ran my finger over it, and it's not clear coat damage, so I took some more soap and put it on there and scrubbed with a microfiber towel, but it still didn't go away.

I have about 5-7 of these on my hood/side of the car. How do I get rid of this? I was debating the following methods, which do you perfer and which is safer?

1) Dawn Soap to remove all wax and such.

2) Claybay the car and get rid of everything (but I heard this can damage paint/clear coat, is this true?)

3) You're suggestion here.

(Mr. Bonz, if you read this, please reply since I'm sure you have some advice!)

Clay bar is the first thing to try (other than of course just washing it) If you use the clay bar correctly, there will be no problems.

If that does not work you will want to attach the problem with a mild polishing compound like 3M Swirl Mark Remover part number 39009.

Outline of grass and such? Hmmmm - I've seen some leaves that will etch their impression on your paint if left on a wet car. Was the car parked outside on a rainy day recenly?

If clay doesn't do it, 3M 39009 will clean it off.
