I rent carpet shampooers from the local grocery store. They work wonders in the car....

leave a **** load of old sundays newspapers inside the cabin and close all the windows overnight. Believe me, it works wonders.

This true .....10 lbs of shredded potatoes spread over the seats and carpets will help also

Meguiar's Odor Eliminator (about $3.00) literally surrounds the odors at a molecular level so your nose won't pick them up. I don't think it's bad, but some say it has a medicinal scent. While better than wet bowzers & cigs, if you don't care for that, you can easily mask it w/ Fabreze. Note that Fabreze's chemistry works great in a house, but not so well in an auto environment where it's hotter/colder & more humid, hence the recommendation to use Meguiar's first to trap ("eliminate") the odor, then cover its smell if you don't like it.

Good luck, and make sure you've got the important German commands down in case you find yourself 1-on-1 w/ Fido!
