I'm currently using Nu-Finish on my Z. It says on the bottle to use it twice a year, but the shine and slickness seems to diminish after a few days. Just wondering if it was ok to use it every week. Ive heard that polish actually takes a very thin layer off of your paint every single time you use it, and that makes me hesitant in using it so often.

 

i suggest you use a different wax such as zaino or crystal guard. i'm not sure if its bad for the paint to wax every week, but it sure is a lot of time to waste when the results only last a few days.

 

I would discontinue use of the NuFinish RIGHT NOW!!!!!!

NuFinish should never be used on a new paint surface, it is LOADED WITH abrasives and very strong cleaners.

On the commerical they use it on junk yard car, durn good reason, since it is so strong.

It conatins Stoddard solvenet which is very similar to kerosene.

I use Nu-Finish on my daily drivers and have for years with wonderful results. It holds up well and gives great protection....and it's cheap. Twice a year is fine.

BUT.....I would not use it on my Zs. Mcguiars Gold Class only. GREAT shine, GREAT price.
