Zaino Bro's is good too.
I bought a Mother's clay bar and lubricant kit from the local Schucks Auto. First one I went to was out, but the second one had some.

they're all pretty much the same. The only difference probably is the make up of the clay. Some clay's don't break up as easily in storage.. but i highly recommend one. Just clay the whole car.. then put a polish.. then finish it up with a polymer sealant or your favorite wax. The Mother's claybar is good enough. Two of my friends bought it from local auto stores. runs about $15 and comes with the clay, lubricant, and a small sample of wax. All you need is a towel (microfiber recommended) to wipe off any residues as you clay.
The blue claymagic works okay, but is a bit too sticky for my taste. The Zaino clay has a nice tackiness, but it is firm, and is hard work to get into a pancake. I solved that problem by taking the pasta roller out of my kitchen (Atlas Mercato - any cooking nut will have one), stripping it down and turning it into an industrial-strength clay flattener. Works GREAT. I've loaned this one out to dozens of people, and they all are amazed (once they stop laughing).
i have used mother's for about 5 years or so
worked consistently not sticky
after messing around with the clay many times, i would swear it is only a clod of plasticene, not the "special stuff" everyone claims (could be wrong- dont get in a knot...)
Since clay plus the binder naturally has fine particulate in it, it will have an abrasive quality, with the surfactant (water with a little mild soap and a few drops of isopropyl alcohol), will do a great job of deoxidizing the upper layers of the paint- only a very small surface layer is removed.
MOther's stuff is at Checker Auto, and similar autoparts places.
