Default Out with the Old and in with the ???

Some how during my last move I misplaced my box with all of my waxes and polishes. I had accumulated a nice assortment to use for my Z and BMW as well as more typical products for the work car and helping friends do a basic polish and wax. I lost the following:

-P21S Concours Carnuba Wax, Cleansing Lotion, and Wheel Cleaner. A great kit for a new car and someone who does not mind waxing on a monthly basis. Great depth and shine, but poor durability.

-3M Imperial Hand Glaze, Machine Glaze, and Swirl Remover for Dark Cars. The Glazes are more of a pain to remove than I would like, but in terms of what you can find over the counter they offer a pretty nice shine. Definately a nice medium between the typical store bought crap and a decent polish.

-Zaino's lineup, too many to list. Yes, it provides a great shine, but the time and hassle was too much for me to bear when other products yielded similiar results with much less work and expense.

- Meguires NXT, High Tech, and Mirror Glaze. Great product for the masses with a nice ease of use. I liked NXT at first, but over time it appealed less and less to me in terms of shine and durability. I found the NXT and will continue to use it on my work vehicle and friend's vehicles.

-Turtle Wax Ice, I know I know, what is a turtle wax product doing in here. Honestly, a lot of people recommended it and in a desert environment its quick application really was a bonus. The product actually works well and brings out the pearl effect or metallic flakes in most vehicles. This is definately the lazy man's wax and would be sufficient for most folks, but I would highly recommend layering a wax over it.

- Zymbol's starter kit and a sample of their Concours Glaze. A really buttery wax. It is kind of fun to feel it warm and melt in your hands and slap it on like buttering a turkey. A great wax, but I don't think I can drop the money on it time and time again. Their basic waxes are crap, but this one was pleasant to use and see the results.

Well, all of that is now gone. Luckily I still have my PC, pads, microfibers, etc... and it is now time to move on to something new and hopefully better. I am leaning towards the following:

Menzerna Intensive Polish, Final Polish, Finishing Glaze, FMJ and topping it with either Poor Boy's or CG 50/50. However, I have also been tempted to checkout Pinnacle or Blackfire, so any feedback is welcomed. I would like to limit the final cost to around $150-200 so no Sonus, Wolfgang limited waxes, or Zymbol's Vintage Glaze.

Ouch..... Sorry to hear about that. Let me know if you'd like any recommendations, I'd be happy to help. I think you have some great products from Menzerna and you can't go wrong with Poorboy's World, Chemical Guys, Pinnacle or Blackfire. All of them are outstanding and continuously. produce outstanding results. We also offer a 10% off coupon code (10off350Z) to help you save some money on restocking your supplies. Good Luck!
