Default Little brown spots in S Jersey

Since I got my Z in January, I've had to endure road salt, lotsa yellow pollen (which looks great on DB) and now these little brown spots that just appear out of nowhere. They are anywhere from 1mm to 3 or 4mm, and I can't figure out where they are coming from. They sort of look like someone took a tiny drop of touchup paint and dabbed it on the car. They come off with some rubbing and water, and I've even had them appear on the car as I was waxing it, on a spot I had just polished, so I know they're coming almost from nowhere and at all times. After putting my cover on for the last 4 hours, there are little brown spots all over it. Has anyone else seen this? They appear even when the car hasn't been driven, and it's not parked under a tree. The substance dries hard, kind of like paint. My thoughts are maybe it's some kind of pollen or a bug taking a dump or laying eggs. This is in South Jersey, so if anyone else knows what this is, I'd like to know.
Thanks!
