Default Cleaning 17"stock wheels?

I have the stock 17" wheels. They are a major pain in the *** to keep clean.I am having a tough time cleaning the insides of the wheel. What does eceryone use?Any good brushes out there?I just waxed them for the first time,so hopefully this will help with the brake dust. Thanks for the info.John

Default cleaning wheels

this is a PITA, no question about it.
I have the same problem with the wheels on my F40 and Porsche.
But, I bought a soft tubular brush about 8 inches long, and with some soap and water and elbow grease, you can clean them up pretty nicely. The little squares along the ribs are fussy spots- a soft cloth will get into the squares but the sponges will not.
I have not waxed the wheels- not sure if this would be better or worse- let me know if you see improvement. The super soft tires most of us have and the brake dust just makes a mess- but, thank goodness that we do not have Mercedes pads which are the worst....
