Default Some idiot backed into me!!!

Now I have this scuff mark on my front bumper. I didnt want to make a big deal of it because it just kissed my front bumper but it did leave some scrape/scuff marks. no deep scratches so I'm happy about that. What is a good product to use to get this out. The color is black and I've already tried Turtlewax color match stuff with the chip stick. It did nothing so now I'm getting a little worried . What should I do or use? Maybe an orbital buffer and buff the hell out of it???? Thanks for any help.

Ron

Strongly suggest you consult a professional. You could pay a "ding remover" guy 50 bucks (or less) to make the problem go away forever or you could try a few things that folks on the web suggest and maybe make things worse.

I'm a do-it-yourself kinda guy, but it sounds like you've taken it as far as you can without assistance. Those ding remover guys do a good job, and most will look at it and give a free estimate.

Default scuff mark

well, you could try a small touch of Dupont or 3M rubbing compound. Gently with a soft cloth.
Do a little, then wipe off, then do a bit more.
Take it easy.
Then, use some Aurora 3000, or 3M glaze compound.
Soft cloth (new one), and wipe gently.
Then let things dry and wipe again.
Wax optional at this point, should squeak as the glaze sets the finish.
Good Luck!
