When I first got it, it was once or twice a week, but that was a bit excessive. Now a days it's about every 2 weeks because Nissan's paint is weak and the less you can touch it, the better. The only exception is if there is bird crap roasting on it.

If it gets water spots or bird poop on it, I always have this feeling its burning a hole through my paint and wash it, as long as I know its not going to rain the next day.
I got free car washes from one of the places here in SA so I wash it whenever I'm near one even if its only been a day since I last washed it. Taking full advantage of it cause as soon as I lower my car I have to wash it myself.
When I did it myself on my past cars its normally been once a week on Sundays, waxed about every 2-3 months.
