Im in Georgia and the humidity is very high right now. I have waxed like I normally do but my shine is not a high as I would like it to be or remember from before. I just got my car painted so swirls are virtually nonexistent. Im just wondering if it could be a factor because if not maybe my paint job was not as good as I wanted it to be.
Will post some pic's tomorrow just wondering in the mean time.

I'd say it's unlikely the humidity is affecting the look that noticeably. The heat can cause waxes to fade extremely quick though. In really high temperatures it's not uncommon for a wax to fade in less than one week. A sealant should be far more resistant to the heat and provide much longer protection if this is a concern. We have many high quality sealants at www,DetailedImage.com that will give you on average 3 - 6 months protection.
Did you potentially apply the wax too soon after the paint job. Typically you should wait 30 - 90 days before applying any protection. If you apply protection to the paint to soon you can trap solvents in the clear coat that make the surface look dull.
Another option is that you may want to polish the surface with a very light polish. Sometimes a light haze can be left behind if you don't finish down the paint with a really good light polish. A good light polish like the Menzerna PO106FF will help ensure the surface has no haze from wet sanding or heavier polishes. Even on newer paint jobs I recommend using a light polish at least 1 - 2 years.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
