Guess I never thought to look into the quality of a microfiber towel. Learn something new every day

I use the costco ones on wheels only, and exhaust tips. I use other quality ones (CG, Eurow O Reilly) for buffing/polishing/waxing removal.

How do microfiber ones compare to the DF towels (http://www.dftowel.com/)? I have a few DF towels that I have been using for a while to remove wax...and i love them because they're soft yet thick. I use a waffle weave to dry but now it seems microfiber to remove wax is what most people are using.
I have the MF from costco which i use for wheels or door jambs, and i keep one in the car with my quick detailer for 'bird bombs'.....also have a Cobra MF i bought to test..
Somehow DF towels seem softer to me than Cobra....any one has both that can chime in?

You do realize 90% of mf towels come from one of those countries right? Im looking at my favorite towels right now. And they are from korea I believe. Keep in mind these are not cheap walmart/ costco mf towels. The costco towels are fine for wheels/ tires/ exhausts. Im sure they're paint safe but I prefer some of the other 150+ towels I have. I have seperate qd, wax removal, polish removal, glass, metal wheel, drying, interior and leather towels 75% of which are from chemical guys. The other 25% are from either detailed image or detailers domain. My all purpose(aka cheap) towels are from detailers domain. I would strongly recommend either the chemical guys or detailed image towels. I have not tried and migliore towels, but sure they are quality, just like their waxs and every other product they make/ sell. Point is you get what you pay for unless you have wholesale accounts or hook ups, and I have both.

Yes i do and i have some very nice quality from south korea but they are not cheap either.I was just talking about a huge amount of towels for a cheap price.I use the Ultra-Plush from Pakshak and they are sweet.

Like you said the cheap towels dont touch my paint either.

Any true auto detailer would laugh at Sham Wow. Use a HIGH quality microfiber. Not some $19.95 crap or those that you can buy at WalMart or AutoZone.

the microfiber towels feel scratchy to me because i have dry skin on my hands. If i rub my arm with it they are super soft much better then cotton imo. I use the cheap walmart ones and i havent regretted it yet. Hopefully i wont.

How many times do you guys use your towels before you throw them out? Ive washed mine several times and they still feel pretty good.
