Default Please critique my detailing method

My DB 6MT Z was delivered a few months ago, and although I've washed it every week I have never done a full detail. There seems to be so many different opinions on what's correct, I thought I'd try to get a few opinions on my entire method.

- I will first wash the car with Dawn. I dry my car using the Cali Water Blade followed by the Big Blue Towel.
- I am going to use Einman Fabrik's Hi-Intensity on on the wheels.
- I'm going to clay using the Pinnacle Clay kit.
- I will wash again using Meguiar's shampoo. I will again dry the car.
- I do have some swirl marks and a few minor scratches, so I'd like to use a polish to help get them out. 3M's Perfect-It seemed highly recommended, but I've heard it's only hand applied. I'll purchase an orbital polisher if it will do a better job, but which polish should I use? Brad4rdHay's guide recommends Griot's polish.
- I need the car wet to apply CrystalGuard, so I'm assuming I should wash the car yet again to remove any polish residue? If so, I'll wash the car with my Meguiar's shampoo and *not* dry.
- I will apply CrystalGuard with my microfiber and rinse as directed.
- I'm going to use the 303 Aerospace protectant for most of the interior (at least the vinyl).
- Einman Fabrik's Clear Vision will be used on the glass (tinted).
- Last but not least, I'm going to use Einman Fabrik's Saphire Tire Gel for the tire dressing.

I know that's long, but opinions would be very much appreciated. 100% of the products listed above were from member recommendations.

sounds good to me!

I normally just:

wash with meguiars
clay magic claybar (while still wet)
wash again with meguiars
dry with calif water blade and some detailing rags
mothers polish
meguiars cleaner wax
meguiars gold class wax

looks stunning when Im done... heres a sample pic... check out http://www.angelfire.com/tn/wren57/350z.html for more

Use the 3M Swirl Mark Remover part number 39009, you can use it by hand for spot removal or if doing the entire car I would use an orbital and foam pad.

When I detailed we would use 3m perfect it with a foam pad and a low speed buffer to remove swirl marks....to remove scratches and fine lines we would use 3m finesse it with a wool pad and a high speed buffer. You can use the perfect it with out a buffer though...just a little more work on your part.

IMHO your method is so detailed (excuse the expression) that you probably ought to pay a visit to www.autopia.org, the detailer's forum. Also, fuh-get CG. Go with anything else. I recommend Zaino.
