Orange Peel or Dealers wrong doing?
The pictures I am posting, i do not know how to post pics in a row, so they will be in the next 2 threads also.
The pics are of my hood, I have another on my passenger door also.
My dealer totally messed up my clear bra (razor blade nics everywhere) they had to repaint my entire front end, except my hood and doors.
I finally had a chance to wash and detail my car and I noticed these blemishes. They feel sandy, and no claying it won't fix it either, I already tried.
Anyway, is this orange peel? You can only see this at an angle, and it feels rough when you rub your hand over it. The dealer or body shop won't do crap about it.
I tried clay bar, washing with dawn soap, re-waxing, you name it, and it won't come off. Its about an inch and a half on my hood and 1/2 inch on my passenger door.
Could this possibly be overspray from when the dealer tried to cover up the razor blade marks the first time they did my bra?
I went to the dealer and to the body shop that painted my car, and they both said they couldn't see anything, they said I am too picky, can you believe that ^%#@$@. Too picky, hmmm, guess $30,000 is pocket change these days.
Anyway, just wondering is this orange peel, or is this the dealer and the body shops doing? Please advise.

it certainly doesn't look like orange peel. How can they say it's not there if you can feel it, and photograph it. Since the texture is different it's either a spot where they missed with the clearcoat, or there was something in the coat.
They said they couldn't see it, or feel it. They said I was way too picky. TOO Picky, hell, if I can take a damn picture, then I don't think I am picky. Well, anyway, I cannot go back to the dealer today, since its about to rain. I will do it tomorrow, and let you know. I will print the picture out for the knuckle heads at the dealer that can't SEE, hopefully they look at the picture and compare, LOL.
Any advice? I have nothing but major problems with this dealer. Its been a nightmare from Day 1. Heck, I only have 500 miles after 60 days of buying the car.
