remove water spot and gum spot????
i have 06 PPW Z. whenever I go through automatic car wash(only pressure water), i never satisfy with it, since it is PPW...
So I go over at coin car wash and wet the car and foam bath really quick at first term($2.50).
then use sponges and rubing gloves, and then spend another $2.50 to wash off the foams.
However, if i do it slowly, the foams get dried off, so i had to do it really fast. But i still see water spot, drooling from top of the rear bumper.... Also I have a "gum-spot" on the hood. i used my finger nails to rip off, but it didn't work at all....

What is a "gum spot"? Do you mean someone spit gum on your hood? You might try some GooGone on the spot. You sound like you need a total detail job and some instruction on how to wash your car.

Coin-operated car wash is half a car wash because it never gets the surface clean. When you wipe the car after the wash, you are rubbing dirt into the surface. Sort of like rubbing the paint with sandpaper.
if you really want to keep your paint looking nice do some research on this forum. basically you need to not only wash your car often you will have to clay bar, polish (machined preferred), and wax and/or sealant. if you dont want to bother with all this than just take it to a detailer
