My review on FK1 products

My review on FK1 products
Just got my order of some FK1 products that have been alot of talk lately.
1. (2) Fk1425 Spray
2. 108 Top Kote Interior
3. Pink wax
4. A free sample of a glaze, poly wipe. Cant remember the number. Ill edit later.
All products were tested on my dd, that has no wax on it whatsoever. I washed the car first and then did a wipe down with 425. First impression was that it was a little easier to remove than z6. And it left the paint feeling very slick. Almost as if it had a coat of wax on it. It also made the paint glossy and seemed to brighten the paint up. I then applied the Pink wax to half of the hood as I want to test the durability of it. Pink wax applied very smooth and with little to no effort at all. I waited about 20 mins then buffed it off with a clean microfiber towel. The removal process was surprisingly just as easy. The paint now felt VERY slick and smooth. Very impressive right from the beginning. The gloss and depth was improved considerably considering the surface had not been prepped for a lsp.
The 108 seemed to bring back a lot of color on the plastic pieces on the dash and doors and leaves a semi gloss finish that was not greasy or slimy at all. Ill check back with results on whether or not it repels dust and particles.
Break down:
1. FK1 425
Pros:
Easy to apply and remove
Leaves the paint VERY smooth and slick (although it didn't slide towels off the hood like z6)
Lots of product for a good price.
Makes even paint with no lsp or sealant feel like it has been waxed.
Cons:
NONE
2. Pink Wax
Pros:
Easy to apply and remove
Price
Leaves a deep gloss and slick feel to the paint
Cons:
The can could use a different design. Sucks to find a screw driver to pry it open.
3. Top Kote 108
Pros:
Brings back color on light faded plastics
Leaves a semi gloss, almost matte finish.
Easy to apply and remove (You wipe it on, then buff over the area)
Cons:
Smell could be better
Will update will beading observation and durability.
Overall: FK1 has really impressed me with the price and quality of their products. I will be buying from them again. Once the Z gets dirty again. Ill update pics of a full pink wax application.
