Several months ago, I ponied up the $$$ for Crystal Guard. While the results were good, they weren't spectacular. Granted the application process is easy and the shine solid, however, the price is steep.

I have found something that works just as well. Eagle One Wax as U Dry!! It applies as easy or easier then Crystal Guard and only costs $5 a bottle. Just wash your car, leave wet and spay on the Eagle One, then wipe with a shammy. You get an awesome shine. Looks great on DB!!

 

How did you get rid of the CG layer on the car? Did you just use Dawn and claybar?

Interesting product. I might just try it out.
