kinda what i was thinkin and its not shiny on the tires it literally made them look brand new on the sidewalls.

I've been using Eagle brand I think, its a gel and has an attached applicator pad. There never seems to be any excess gel on the tire and I dont recall ever having any "fling"

The 303 Aerospace Protectant is great on rubber, vinyl, plastic and synthetic and coated leather surfaces. For tires it leaves a nice matte finish that makes the tires look dark but without the gloss. It provides some of the strongest UV protection on the market.
