Default What to clean headlights with?????

Hey guys,

I am planning on taking off my headlight tint tomorrow and hopefully doing some CF eyelids. The question that I have is after I heat up the tint and take it off, what should I clean the headlights with? I don't want to remove anything on the surface that may be protecting the headlights. Should I use Goo Gone to remove the sticky residue or just basic soap and water? Any information is helpful. Thanks guys.

Mr. Clean is safe on plastic. Good for removing residue. Black Magic wax removes dirt and leaves a nice shine.

Also, instead of goo gone, there are citrus cleaners you can use that have the same cleaning power as goo gone.

Walmart carries a brand or two.

Yeah, I used the citrus stuff to removed the glue after I debadged the trunk lid of the Z. Its pretty safe stuff compared to goo gone
