Removing Zaino
I need to remove the Zaino on the hood of my wife's black RAV4 because it was not completely clean when I applied the Zaino.
Anybody knows how to do this...
BTW: I think it's really great stuff.

I just sent an email to the Zaino website asking about Dawn and received a message from Sal to call him or send my phone number and he would call me. I sent him my number and he called back in less than 2 minutes.
He said Dawn will not remove Zaino, but it would remove any wax. He recommends using Dawn before the initial application of Zaino to make sure the car is clean and wax free. He thinks that is the reason many people think it will remove Zaino. I suggested that he might want to add this to his FAQ page.
He seems like a nice man and said he answers all his email. He said if you needed to talk to him call and if he was unavailable just leave a number where you could be reached.
BTW Bonz, I told him in my email I started using Zaino last year based on your recommendations. Maybe that’s why he called me so quickly.
One other thing he had told me some time back was that I could use the ClayBar and Z-7 with very light pressure whenever I thought it was needed. He said this would only remove a very slight amount of Zaino and help keep the car contaminant free.

FYI, in case you need to remove zaino to apply some type of addhesive material to the surface (ie. clear bra or body moldings).
Per Sal, "dawn will not remove zaino". He also stated that "A light or simple Claying will not remove Zaino, [however], repeated Claying of the paint surface will eventually remove Zaino".
In regards to attaching addhessive materials, Sal stated the following, "remove zaino prior to applying body side moldings" and that "there are many commercial body shop products that are specifically designed to remove polish/wax to prep a surface prior to painting. Isopropyl Alcohol will also remove Zaino".
Hopefully this clears up some questions about zaino removal

I tried to remove the blemishes with Z5, as Sal told me, did not work.
Meguiars paint cleaner definitely worked. The hood is clean now. Thanks mrice.
Meguiars paint cleaner takes it right off, no effort.
