There is another thread talking about the same product. It would not work for me however as I want my car dry for a reason after each wash in order to use my detailer spray, I use Zaino Z-6 after each and every wash.

Its not totally touchless, better read the fine print. You will still have to lay hands on the car to wash it, you can not remove road film from driving in the rain by just shooting soapy water onto a painted surface. You will have to dislodge the road film with your washing mit and car wash. I would also not use the car wash that comes in the unit, I would prefer to use the car wash that is mated to the wax or polish brand name you are using.

I think the part they are stressing most is that it will purify the water (in a filter that has to be replaced) so on the final rinse you can leave the water on the surface and not have to dry the car (personally I would never do this regardless of how pure the water is)

I will try anything that claims to reduce water spots! Down in the south, even in the shade the damn car spots with water before i can try the whole thing.

Yes, but you missed my point, with that product you have to intentionally leave the car wet using it as a final rinse, doing so prohibits you from being able to use the Z-6 after you wash the car like you are supposed to, Z-6 must be used on a dry surface. You should always have Z-6 on the surface of your Zainoed car as the last and final coat to reduce dust and keep things like bugs and tar from sticking to the surface.

Also, if you do the hose trick you will not have much of a drying chore and no water spots, when you get the Z-7 car wash soap washed off using the nozzle on the water hose, take the water nozzle OFF the hose and let a steady stream of water run all over the surface of the car starting at the top, then the hood, then the trunk, then down both sides, doing so will sheet off 90% of the standing water droplets
