Default Exterior Paint Issue

Ok, I'm looking for some advice...

When I first got my Z (2 mos ago), I had them install a Nismo wing, fill the holes they drilled in the front bumper for the license plate bracket, and fix a small ding and paint bubble in the rear passenger quarter panel.

I get the car back (A FRIGGIN MONTH LATER! ) and there is paintspray EVERYWHERE....on my brand new custom Katzkin leather passenger seat, on all 4 of the rims AND on random parts of the car (in addition to a laundry list of other items they damaged).

I bought some Zaino recently and also a claybar. Since the paintspray is everywhere AND their fault, I don't think I should be the one to have to try to remove all of it and it seems that, on small areas I've tried on the paint, that it doesn't come off very easily or at all.

What do I (have them) do to get it off? Do they need to wet sand the whole car??? What is the safest method? Any advice would be really really appreciated.

I just want to get this fixed, so my car can look how new it is and so that I can get a few layers of Zaino on before it starts getting really cold out. Thanks for any help/advice.

You're much calmer than I would be. I would still be down at the dealer yelling at them rather than posting. I would go right back to the dealer and show it to them and demand that it be fixed.

I would raise hell at the dealer. Let us know which dealer did you go to so others can benefit from it.

I guess I was just hoping they'd do the right thing. Besides which, I don't like to burn my bridges or make enemies. Unfortunately it's coming down to all that. I am referring to Smithtown Nissan in Long Island, New York. Perhaps at some point, I'll post my whole horrifying Z-buying experience, but I really didn't wanna bash my dealer or the dealership on this forum even though I have gone through more than enough to earn me that right. If you want to hear the whole story, for now, you can PM me and I'll tell you the whole thing.

Any paint advice???

Im sorry to hear that. DONT wetsand the car though. It's too new.

The claybar will probably remove the overspray since the paint is still fresh. However, you shouldnt be the one to do this. Raise F**king hell. I am a quiet guy myself, but if I found overspray on my new car they would be fixing it. Call Nissan North America on their *** to document this. Then go in and ask for the service manager
