Default my experience with CG

I applied CG quick on my car last week and it looked great. It covered some of the spider webs and scratches. But after a wash today those spider webs and scratches are all visible. Is it supposed to be like that or am i doing something wrong???

You should prep the car and get rid of them before applying the CGQ. I'm going to completely strip my car, clay it, and possibly compound a few spots before applying. Seems to be the best way (BTW, I don't own a 350Z, but I found this forum searching on info on CG originally. I own a MR2 Spyder. I won't be posting in any other parts of the forum, so don't worry... ).

Has anyone ever tried Crystal Guard durability??? The reason im asking this is because after washing my car the surface doesn't feel as smooth as when it had a fresh CGQ coat.
