I just bought a bunch of cleaning supplies for my Z that's coming in February and decided to use some on my Altima. The product that stood out most was the wheel and tire cleaner gel by pinnacle:

It was SUPER easy and worked great! You need a brush too...works better than microfiber. All the brake dust came right off. (And I have barely ever washed that car).

Maguires Hot Rims has worked fine for me and it almost half the cost fo that product. Good tip though.
