Porter cable for a noob. It oscillates rather than the spinning of the rotary. If you dont know what you're doing, you can really do some damage with the rotary. With the porter cable, it is much harder to destroy the paint.

Porter cable will yeild some good results still with ease of use.

Good luck

The Porter Cable 7424 and Flex are easier for new detailers to use. They can not burn the paint and are easy to use on your first try. The Makita is a rotary buffer that can burn the paint and does require more practice. This is probably the safest rotary buffer out there but it does have to be used with caution while practicing. Let me know if you have any questions.

Unfortunately Chemical Guys screwed up our order and they gave us more of the 16oz size instead of the 128oz size Microfiber Cleaning Detergent. I've already placed another order for the 128oz size so I apologize for the delay. It looks like it's going to be a couple of weeks, very frustrating.

I've requested this several times and unfortunately it doesn't look like it's going to happen in the very near future. I keep pushing for it but the mfg is resistant. I'll stay on them and see if I can make something happen.

I called CG and I verified that my latest order does include the 128oz Microfiber Detergent which is scheduled to be here on 10/7. I apologize for the delay but hopefully we'll have it up on our site very shortly!
