Were they testing the $1,300 a jar wax? If you check out their site they have about 15 different kinds. The kind that they tested above was actually made for just the NSX which is kind of scarry.

Its just marketing, the have waxes for Volvo cars, NSX, BMW I think, heck they even have a wax they say that is just for SUV's of all things, like SUV's need some "special" kind of wax. It fools the wine and cheese crowd into thinking that they have bought a "special" wax for their baby or something like that.

I would love to have a newer NSX. I've always liked them.

I don't know if it's true anymore but this use to be common with waxes since the Japanese and American cars used to have a different kind of paint. I don't know if it's true anymore. I do know that I had a Lexus and it's paint was TOUGH compared to the Z which will scratch if you look at it worng.

Oh, there are differences in paint, but not to the point where you need X brand of wax for X brand of car, that is just going a bit too far. The wax or polish is only laying on top of the paint, its not becoming part of it....

How about we all pitch in together and buy a jar of it. Then we can send it off, get it refilled, and ship it to another member who pitched in. eh!? eh!?
