Default Z and DUST!!

i have noticed myself along with many people about the Z and dust. it is not the zaino, because i had that problem with other waxes. i have noticed a tremendous amount of static electricity build-up in the Z. especially on the rear section. my guess is that since alot of the trim is plastic or composite, it is somehow building up static electricity when the wind passes over it. i can actually feel the static field about an inch away from the rear bumper with my hand sometimes. if you wash it regularly, this helps, but i dont know about all of you, but i only wash my Z about once a month. i am very meticulous about my car and DAILY i use a california duster before i drive and usually follow that with a clean rag with Z6. this takes any residue left by the california duster away. this could also be causing the static build up. do any of you here mostly polish your Z with a spray instead of washing it? is this bad for the paint? i try to dust it off good before hand to avoid any scratches...but i guess you are always going to get some on there. of course i wash and wax it once a month or so with zaino...z5 and z2. but i hate to drive around a hot car that is all dusty. maybe i am way too ****, or maybe some of you are the same way. is this a bad way to maintain the appearance?

Keep the duster handy! A MUST if you have black. I really mean that. A MUST!
