Default Overspray removal on headlights

God damn shop left over spray on my headlights. How can I safely remove it? I tried lighter fluid to no avail (it was all I had )

You could try mineral spirits, but if it was me, I would take it back to the shop and make it their responsibility. The overspray should not have been there if they did the job right in the first place. If they mess up the headlights in any way, then they will have to replace them. If you mess them up, then it becomes your responsibility (expense) to replace them.

Clay bar and a good lubricant. You can use most clay bars on glass as well as your car. I tried Clay Magic and it was sticky. Not a fan. I like the Blackfire stuff. 2 bars and lubricant for $30 in a kit with MF towels.

Clay Bars where originally invented to remove over spray, try that first....
