Default Car Washes

I have a 2007 red Z conv. Live where it is really difficult to wash car in winter. Has anybody ever used a an automatic car wash with any limited success?

Once I went through a car wash and the strong chemical soap removed the clear-coat completely from my car. Some idiot purchased and used the wrong soap.

Just don't do it. Ever.

Get a bucket with proper soap, bring it in your place and put hot water in it to keep your hands warm. Go out and wash by hand.

I tried to avoid them at all costs. If you want to wash in the winter months here is what I use - Optimum (OPT) No Rinse (ONR). You don't have to use a hose to rinse the vehicle down afterward. Just fill a bucket of water in your home, add the ONR and wash like normal. I also keep a rubber glove on my hand to keep it dry. Let me know if you have any questions.
