Default Automatic car washes

I have a 07 350Z roadster. Very difficult to wash during the winter time. Has anybody used one of those automatic car washes with any success?

not sure on the leaks or what not around the window on a roadster.........

my wifes saturn sky will leak when the back forth up down motion spray comes and sprays upward to the window seal........little drips will come inside...

I go with my coupe Z to those automatic touchless ones here and there mainly to wash the underside........road grit and tire rubber from events....

i would not do an auto wash unless it was touchless. dont let those brushes touch your paint, nor the large revolving drums with the brushes come near your fenders. ive read that one persons z was messed up, while knowing that the brushes dont leave the nicest marks/prints on your car. do a touchless or suck it up and clean it one day when it is a bit warmer.

Never go to a car was that uses brushes!!

As far as leaking, if you have a convertible, and you use high pressure water spray around the windows, you're going to get some water.

Try to do it by hand if possible.

+1. I used "touchless" car washes all the time, back home. Haven't found any here yet. And was dumb enough to try the one on base... left hairline scratches on my roof, and my hood. Probably all over the car too, haven't really noticed.
