Default Interior Trim & Panel Color Restoration?

Hi guys, I'd like to know which products work best on the Z's door panels as well as the trim if I want to restore its darkness, or better yet, dress it up to make it look darker like how dealers do it. Please take into account durability and effectiveness in delivering a dark and rich color.

Thanks in advance

First off I always recommend cleaning the surface first. Some of the protective products have some light cleaners in them but I prefer a separate cleaner like the 303 Cleaner & Spot Remover. If you want a dark and glossy appearance try the Poorboy's World Trim Restorer or the http://www.detailedimage.com/Chemica...P188/16-oz-S1/. If you want a more matte finish the 303 Aerospace Protectant and the Optimum (OPT) Protectant Plus are my top choices. As always you can save 10% off on our site with the coupon code 10off350Z. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I agree. I have used 303 Aerospace Protectant on my 03 Z Trim inside the car and it still looks good including my dash. I have also used on my Uncle's 69 Corvette interior and every time some one sees it they ask him if he got new interior.

DO NOT use what the dealers use. They generally use a heavy oil based dressing which will actually do more harm than good in the long run.

My interior looks immaculate and here is my process:
- First, I use clean soapy water like when you go to wash your car. I dip a cotton terry towel in the soapy water and ring out about half of the water to where it is no longer dripping wet but enough soapy water to help clean. Lightly rub along all vinyl interior surfaces. When finished, i take a clean, dry microfiber towel and run over the areas just cleaned to get any water or dust left behind.
- Lastly, I spray some 303 Aerospace protectant to a damp microfiber towel and apply to all previously cleaned surfaces. I then take a dry microfiber towel and buff the surfaces to a matte finish.

I like 303 Aerospace protectant because it is not oily and has a UV portectant in to help from fading/cracking. Because it is not oily, it is not "ghetto shiny" and does not attract dust as much as many other products and is relatively cheap. A 16oz bottle from our friends at detailedimage.com have it for like $13 and it lasts quite a long time.
