Default I just found the king of detailers

I've been looking for someone to detail the Z but I was not impressed with the mobile types that give it a quick wash and dry. I found a real king of detailers - Swiss by birth and you could eat off the floor. The place was full of Ferrari's, Maseratis etc which impressed me as well. The guy came accross as really honest and a true car enthusiest.

He gets the cat at about 2 pm - and tells me he call when its ready - 7.30 pm I get a call - your car is ready.

What a quality job - every inch is clean and polished - underneath , outside inside everywhere. He has a arc light on the car so that he can see every mark - and tools to fix anything.

All for 100 US!! He wants it back in 6 months to do it again (4 weeks will be more like it).

It is nice to find a person that gives really good value and appreciates the vehicle he works on - restores my faith in people.

Sounds awesome. I am about to get fired from my job as a waiter and have been thinking of starting a little detailing job. The catch, I will be using ZAINO! and advertising as such. It is fairly popular to the car enthusiast crowd out here. I already have lined up a few potential customers. I jsut need to find a good wheel cleaner and interior cleaner and I am set!

This guy has his own workshop - I don't believe a mobile worker could do as good a job. Get yourself a small but very clean shop and send out flyers - post on boards like this - and they will come.

The fact you already own one of the best cars on the raod should also impress. Course your car will have to be clean 100% of the time.

good luck!

It is clean about 75% of the time. When I am caught hitting a puddle because I cannot avoid it is when it gets dirty. But I wash it about every 2 days (no lie).

The worst thing happened to me - I'm on my way to a client and I get caught up in roadworks - I can't turn around and they have CEMENT down on the road - I just thought it was wet roadbase. The car was covered with crap - sides underneath - everywhere. I was ready to kill when i got out. I washed it straight away but it still took about 5 hours to get halfway decent.

I seriously thought of suing the main roads dept....
but these kind of things tend to take more out of the suer than the suee.

The detailer cleaned up what I could not do.. The plastic underneath was white....

I think they should close the damn road if they are going put down material that could damage a car. But no these people don't care.
