Default Anyone try or use Zymol Japon or Carbon wax?

I'm thinking of purchasing the Japon Wax by Zymol. I have been researching waxes for the last few weeks, and this seems to have both a good reputation, and fit within my budget $49.00 for 8 ounces. The only other wax I have used in Mother's Carnauba, and am looking for an upgrade, if you will. I am looking for something to bring even more shine to my Daytona Blue Metallic finish. Any information or reviews would be appreciated.

as far as OTC waxes go.. try Autoglym HD wax.... hard to find.. u can find them at walmart or pepboys. i've used many waxes and Autoglym HD competes with my 80+ dollar waxes...very symilar to MaxWax. for about 35$..durability is great and makes my car bling bling... water beading is excellent. easy on easy off..or u can try the liquid or pasta souveren waxes. if u have the $$ u can try the fusion wax. kinda expensive but works well

in my opinion zymol is excellent wax, i've using that wax for 16 years with my 1994 camaro and my paint is like new! no chemicals which is good. ralph lauren using that to his ferrari collections.

I don't have any experience using the Zymol product line on my Z but I have tried out a few other waxes on my Daytona Blue Z:

Clearkote Carnauba Moose Wax - Awesome! Easy on, easy off (even in direct sunlight). Brings out the pearl in the paint with an awesome gloss.

P21S 100% - Similar to CMW above but more than 2x the price. reflections are sharper, though.

Poorboys Natty's Blue Wax - Glossy but darkens the paint (depth) and the pearl is lost. Otherwise, very good wax for the price.

I've tried a number of other waxes to get different looks but these are the ones that have similar effects to what you seem to be looking for.

Wax will not make your shine "pop". Correct preparation will make your wax shine and the wax will protect that shine. You need a good polish prior to waxing. I use a Griot's garage DA buffer with Griot's Machine Polish #3 to prepare for waxing.

Having said that, I used Zymol Creame wax for about 15 years. I have recently started using Adam's Americana Wax and find it to be a little better than the Zymol product.
