Just got into a small accident and my headlight has some marks on it. It has the cars paint on it, and might have been scratched also. What can I do to remove the paint? Just wax it or use rubbing compound? Thanks,

You could try some Meguiar's PlastiX and see if that will remove the paint. A D/A buffer would be a definite asset in trying to polish the headlight.

yea, the lens of the headlight. Hmm, rubbing alcohol? I don't know if that would help strip away the paint. I was thinking rubbing compound, but I dont want the headlights to haze....

 

deng just called the stealer, and you cant buy the lens itself, since it comes attached from factory

 

rubbing compound and if that dont get it then use 800-1000 grit sand paper then go to 2k then 3k then buff for a BRAND new look
