Default In-Line Water Softener and Deionizer

there are a few ive seen for $120-$165 that good and let you know when to replace but there a few at walmart for $20 or online for about $35. Are they the same filtering chemicals or are they different in performance?

N/M. Are you asking if it would help to use deionized water to wash and detail your car?

My water may also have ions. Do I need to get rid of them?

I'm not sure whether or not is it preferred or plausible to remove my water ions while washing the car...

yes for detailing and washing. i know i have some sort of solution from the 80's that treats the water that your using if added but this is just a slew of chemicals in a tube that your hose water runs through and calcium etc filter out all the minerals
