I just threw on a coat of Z2 with ZFX and was thinking about leaving it on overnight. Is this a bad idea with ZFX? Its about 60-65 degrees in my garage.

nm, found my answer, good ole search function. I think the consensus is that it is a waste of ZFX since the Z2 would cure overnight w/o ZFX. Oh well...good thing im stocked up on ZFX

Not only that but it tends to streak a bit if you leave it on too long with ZFX (at least on the Brick).

I went about an hour and 15 min. with ZFX and no problems. Just make sure it isn't in direct sun with the ZFX on too long. It'll really streak then.

12 hours a couple times. Streaked once, but they went away by the end of the day. Other time it buffed off with a little more strength.

Just to clarify. The streaks aren't too hard to get rid off. Usually you just have to put more muscle into buffing whereas normally with Zaino it is extremely easy to buff.

Thanks DJK. JesseEnglish made it for me.

I have left mine on for a week with no problems at all. It came right off as though it was 20 minutes old.
I have not seen streaking.... that is interesting. I have a car I am going to run the PC over to get rid of some swirls left over after a repaint from an accident. I think I will put a coat on Sunday and let it sit for a week to see what happens.

One week WITH ZFX? Why would you do that?

I have left Zaino on for several days inside my garage, never had a problem wiping it off or streaking....

I was bored and wanted to try a new type of applicator out. It was a Sunday night, and just didn't have the time to take it off during the week.

What color cars do you have (Grzldvt and Kevin).

I was just wondering if you have light colored cars since on the dark colors, it seems to show some streaking if you leave ZFX/Zaino on too long. ESPECIALLY in the sun.

I ONLY own BLACK, both my car and Silverado.....

Dr, being a Zaino distributor I sometimes push the limit, use the products wrong or in strange ways on purpose, why? because working with thousands of customers over the years I know some of them will also use the product before reading the instructions and sometimes use them in a wrong manner, so I want to know the possible outcome from wrong use......

Interesting approach. Your customers should appreciate that since you are taking one for the good of the team so to speak.

I wish I could do that in MY business. Hmmmm, let's see. If I hook this guys femur up to his humerus instead of his tibia, I wonder if he'll be able to walk on his hands?

The car I left it on was a 98 Vette very close to Daytona Blue, but I have Silver, Dark Blue, and Red cars. I have left Zaino on all of them overnight with no problems

I am having the streaks form Z5 being on a Black car, in a garage for about 1 hour. I have been rubbing hard with new micro but still there. I had planned to put 2 coats of Z2. Do I wait about geting the streaks off first? How do i get the streaks off?
