is it safe to apply wax to the outside door handles?

Default is it safe to apply wax to the outside door handles?

Just want to make sure if its safe, they seem to be plastic.Thank you guys

it depends on the wax. I use Zaino which is safe for plastic.

If you want to bring the shine up on the door handles, just use a decent metal cleaner. It should last for months. One I've used for a long time is the Turbo Wax Metal cleaner. And it really brings the handles and of course exhaust etc up beautifully.

You only need a very small blob per area you do and a bottle will last for ages, even when you detail multiple vehicles as I do.

Just like the above response, depends on the wax. A lot of new waxes and sealants can be used on rubber and plastic trim etc.
