I think it was Mike Phillips from Meguirs that posted in Autopia that says more than two application of NXT wouldn't have any benefits. (I can't find the thread SORRY)
I actually just recieved my PC from Autopia. DavidB had a drawing and I was the lucky SOB. He also threw in a bottle of NXT Tech Wax & Spray wax also, cool guy. I also have the Tech Protectant and I absolutely love it.
In the Spring I'll be using a paint cleaner, 1Z following it with Klasse, then Pinnacle Souveran topped off with NXT all with my new PC.

You know, it seems I had remembered a comment from Mike about that. I know in one thread he does talk about applying 2 coats (thread titled "Okay, my only complaint about NXT is..."): "Best results will come with two applications, with the second application 24 hours later if possible. Also, don't get this product wet during this period of time while the polymers are setting up for best, longest lasting results. (even with a QD)." He goes on to talk about testing the durability by adding a second coat. You can find his post about half way down the page here.

Another Zaino pic for you. This is several coats of Z5 and Z6. I don't use Z2 much at all, but I will probably start with 2 or 3 coats tomorrow.

Dan,

How does Z5 work on the swirls that us with Black seem to suffer from...

Marc,

It works reasonably well. It's definitely not MEANT solely to fill swirls. I'd say on a scale of 1-10, a single coat of Z5 would represent a 5 in swirl filling power. The good thing is that, theoretically and in practice, the polymer can bond to itself. So in my case, I applied 3 consecutive coats of Z5. If you're looking at multiple applications, I'd give Zaino a score of 8, because it will cover most if not all swirls up with enough applications. It is obviously non abrasive so it won't remove them, but it still looks very nice until you can get your hands on a PC and some Meguiars compound.

Thanks Dan,

I just traded my 03 PPW an 04 SB alonf with the Zaino kit. The only thing that sucks is that it's really too cold to apply it til spring. No one I know has a heated garage either.
