I need to buy a new one and I've been burned before by saving a few bucks. What are your favorite

 

Porter Cable 7424XP. Great reviews led me to buy it so I don't really have any comparison but it works well. I've probably only used it 7-8x at this point and its performed flawlessly.

Only downside/improvement I'd like is a "second hand handle" to be able to take the stress off of one hand wrapped around the polisher body. But that's a minor detail to me.

 

+1^^. I've had this same Porter Cable model for years and have used it hundreds of times. Takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'! Also disperses Blackfire polish and sealants in an even manner and has more than paid for itself at this point.
