Frost Build Up
Well it's starting to become that time of year again where it's getting cold out, and frost is developing on my car. So I have a couple of questions...
How come only certain parts of my car frost? IE, my roof, hatch, and driver side quarter panel always frost. Never my hood, or my doors.
Is there anything I can do to prevent frost from forming on my car? I never see other cars frost like mine it seems.

There is an answer why that's happening, but it's specifically related to your circumstance. Lots of variables to explore, so without seeing your car and how/where it's parked in relation to the outside environmental architecture that's surrounding it, it's just going to be loose speculation as to why it's happening on those different areas of your car. Sure, we can give you a 101 on the physics of frost formation but without knowing the layout and geography of the area in which this is happening, the absolute answer would just be a guess.

Consider getting a custom car cover for your Z. With an all-weather fabric for durability, it can fold up in about 5 minutes. No more frost and your Z will be in far better shape than being left outside without any protection.
