Hi. I need to detail my car this weekend.

I would love to get into the whole zaino process but in reality I know I will only wax my car probably twice per year. Does that mean I should get a polymer based wax (I've heard you guys say the polymers shine may not be as good, but it lasts longer)?

In any case, which carnuba or polymer wax would you recommend that can be got at the typical local retail outlets on a weekend?

I'm guessing an autoparts store will be the most specialty shop, or should I go to a car detailer or something? Can I buy the clay bar and stuff in a local store, or is that special order only?


I realize the best of the best may not be available in the local pep boys type shops. So I guess I'd like your guidance - if you had to buy it off the shelf today, what products would you pick for tire cleaner, interior, exterior wash, and exterior wax?
