Getting front bumper resprayed. Base/clear coat of course. I'm sure they'll add flex additives due to the material

Anyway, when is it safe to wash and zaino the thing? How long should I wait?

 

Youare suppose to wait a month, but it should be fine after a week or two really.. Just light pressure, no buffers or anything.

I just had my rear bumper repainted and that is what I was told, andit was fine. I actually polished it 1 week later.

my body shop swears by 90 days, the traditional answer

maybe i'll look for a compromise in between...but for now i'm heading out towards 90. u can polish it all you want until then.

 

When my last car has some paint work done i was told to wait 30 days.

 

I was told 30 days when a cold weather. 2 weeks for a Hot summer day.

 

So what you can polish it all you want but no washing or is it no waxing?
