Question Question About ABC appilcation

I just ordered the ABC system from autoint.com for my GS400.

How do i apply the chemicals? Like washing the car? Also, what about the black molding found on some vehicles. Should i avoid having the ABC system touch these?

Default ABC Tips.

The problem I had with the Z's mirror housings was the first time I encountered this, and I have used it on many Lexus' with no problems. IF you encounter a problem, i will personaly pay for the black dye.

The directions on the juggs are great, but I will add a few tips that I have found affective.

Either get clear measured bottles, or use one of your wifes kitchen liquid measurers (you know, the glass things with the orange oz. markers). I was lucky to have saved my old car wash bottles, which worked great, you can also measure your own bottles out, and label them. I recomend clear so you can easily see how much your poured out. The reason is that the pH of the chemicals when applied to the car is very impotant, if you mix up the alkaline "A" to weak, the pH will be lower...

Have three seperate mitts/sponges fo each chemical, and keep them in labeled bags for future reference.

*Work out of direct sunlight to prvent drying.

The A is mixed up like a regular car wash, but 16ox. per gallon. I made out fine with just one gallon for the Z. Mix up the solution on one bucket, and like i recomend for every wash, have another "rinse bucket" Dip the mitt in the solution getting a handfull of suds, and gently wipe down a section of the car, top to bottom, rinsing the mitt out after each section. Do this to the whole car. Now you let the chemicals go to work for 5-7 min. DON'T let the chemicals dry, (not the end of the world buy may streak). To keep the car wet, re-wet it with the suds every min or two. After dwelling fr 5-7 min, rinse.

Try to get most of the water off the car. Doesnt have to be bone dry, but you want to apply the B to a mostly dry surface.

Now, the B is used strait, no mixing with water. I just walk around wth a squeeze bottle, squirting the B onti the car, and spreading with the mitt. Again, let it dwell for 5-7 min, and don't let it dry. Rinse.

C is a regular (but top notch) car wash. Rinse your two buckets out, and use them again for the C, again, one suds, one rinse. Mix the C up, 1ox per gallon, and quickly wash the car, getting rid of any resudues.

Now completely dry. The car shouldbe queaky clean and really sparkle. Silverstone just completely changed color after using ABC.

Remember to tape off the mirror housings with some non-porous tape.
