Default cleaning wheels with stains on them

On my front wheels there are areas were its darker and rougher than the other parts of the wheels.

Is there anything that will remove this stuff?

Try a polishing or rubbing compound, the wheels are clear coated if it is the ones in your picture......

Try the 3M all purpose cleaner. You can get it at any automotive paint suppy store. Here where I live there is a special store that only sells automotive paint supplies to body shops. Get some cotton terry pads and cover the can opening with the pad and tip it over to get some of the cleaner on the pad. Then apply the pad to the spot. I have used this with success on my front rims.
