a couple of kids in my area egged my car. there is a thread about it above if you want the details.

someone suggested i post here. any suggestions as to what i should do?

 

it can and will etch the paint. a thick base of good wax might have helped but thats past now. but Im hoping youve already washed it WELL! got all of the egg off the pain.

if it sits on there it will leave a mark.

just remove it, nothing more you can do than that, if it leaves a mark, it leaves a mark.

 

so claybar won't help at all? i did have 2 coats of wax on there. + everyother week i use eagle one stuff. but that is not much of protection i know that.

nope the damage IS the paint, not on the paint.

 

eggs have a magic ability to instantly eat paint in small specs.. in the shape of the impact

If you've scrubbed it and there is still visable specs.. its usually missing paint.

 

the roof of my Z was egged the 2nd week i had the car.... left sum pretty bad chips and fogged out/distorted the paint, had to get the roof repainted/fixed cuz whoever did it also left a dent in the roof somehow.... I was so upset my poor baby
