You can use a clay bar, or use bug and tar remover.

Default 3M All Purpose Cleaner

I use 3M All purpose cleaner. It can be found at any auto paint supply store. Dab a little on a terry cloth and gently rub the tar off.

Are you sure it is tar. Small little black circles could be 'artillary' fungus spores. They are insidious AND very difficult to remove. They are produce by a fungyus that lives basicly in forrested areas or TAN BARK. DO NOT park near tan bark!! Looks nice but these things are everywhere. I used to think it was fly 'hit. Check the siding on your house or apartment next to shrub beds and you'll see them as high as 8'.

Try the tar remover from Stoner. It is called Tarminator. This is a great product, works fast and does'nt have a strong odorl. I have a PPW and use this product very frequently. By the way these people also have Invisible Glass which is a great glass cleaning product as posted previously in this forum.

you can use wd40. just spray it on a towel, wipe the tar off, and then wash the area where the tar was. I'm not sure the wd40 is harmful at all for the paint but i figure since i immediately wash the spot where it was it can't be that bad. nothing bad happened when i used the wd40 at least.
