Default Clear Bra wax buildup...

Wax buildup around the edges of the clear bra is my biggest issue with the product (one of the main reasons I am afraid of getting the clear bra)...

Have any of you who have the clear bra found a way to deal with this? For that matter, do you wax your clear bra?

I just got it installed yesterday, but I have found on the rear pieces that come from the factory, a wooden toothpick works best at removing the wax from the cracks.

Id be carefuill with a toothpick! The best way is to just push a terry towel into the "crease" and wipe the residues out.

A softened end of a toothpick or a soft toothbrush works well, the seam is really not much worse than any other crease or crack on the car where wax would normaly build up. We're all pretty spoiled nowadays with our new cars that have the least amount of gaps and mouldings for wax to get caught in. When I was in high school I had an old BMW 318, I probably spent twice as long getting the wax out from between gaps and underneath mouldings than I did waxing the car! BTW the film can be treated as any other painted surface of the car, so use any wax you would normaly use on the paint, just no buffing machines!

I would suggest using a wax that doesn't leave a white residue.

Default mikeinatlanta is right

If you use Zaino you will not have this problem as it leaves no white residue whatsoever. I use it on my black PT Cruiser which has the 3M film and it shows no residue around the edges - and black would show it if any color would.
