Default Holy S#!T!!

So I washed my car yesterday and I used a claybar on my front bumper and hood and my front fenders. After that I washed my car again just to get the residue off. It was cloudy yesterday, so everything was going smoothly. I then slapped on some mothers cleaner wax and then I took that off and finished with a coat of NXT. So everything looks great!!!!

then..............

I'm driving to block busters and it's dark outside....so I get out of my car to admire my kick *** job. I look at my hood and I see what looks like water spots. So I go WTF?? Upon closer examination I realize that my Fu#%king clear coat is riddled with what looks like little dots all over the place. It's on my fenders too.

I'm not a freaking idiot and I used plenty of lube with the claybar. I don't think a claybar could do damage like that. I didn't hear any type of scratching going on. My damn clear coat is just jacked? So I have a crappy night just sitting there wondering how much this is going to cost me to get fixed...I wakeup in the morning and I look at my car and I can't see any visible damage on the paint.

Could it be the wax? Maybe the layers have holes in them....I know I sound desparate.

I'm freaking sweating here. I'm ready to drive into the dealer and go buckwild on those ****'s. I've had my car 4 months and my entire hood is chipped and looking mighty bad. I had my last car for 7 years and the hood and front bumber never got this bad.

do you guys think I should get the coats of wax off my car and see if that was the problem? I have never seen wax do this in my life. I'm so pissed...............

I'd clean off an area and see if it is actually damage to or something on the paint itself.

It is probably bits of clay. Use some dawn dishwashing detergent to get the wax and clay off, then rewax.
