Again, see the other post you made about Zaino. I posted my protocol there.

You MUST lubricate your paint with a solution of Z-7 and water in a squirt bottle. Mist this on the car and do small sections at a time rubbing the paint with the clay lightly. Make sure you keep squirting with the lube solution and the clay glides over the paint easily. I usually use half the claybar per session. Keep kneading the clay to keep a fresh surface on top at all times. Make sure no small dirt particles get into it and DON'T drop it! If you do, discard it and get another piece. When done rinse this off with a hose and proceed with the rest of the process.

Dont put pressure on the clay just let it glide or else you'll put alot of swirls.

You can apply pressure but the lube lets it slide. You won't create swirls unless your clay is contaminated. A fresh, clean claybar won't cause swirls at all if the surface of the car is clean (you should wash with Dawn and rinse before claying).

What if the claybar is not fresh anymore due to contaminats will you still apply pressure?

Like I said, if it is contaminated, you should get a new one.

I use one half of one claybar for each session. Unless the car is really dirty, that should be fine for the whole car but if it is getting dirty, I'd then switch to the second half of the clay.

The Zaino Z-18 clay comes in a jar and it contains two bars. That would be good for four claying sessions in my hands.
