I used it this weekend..got the new car kit. First I had to clay the car..lots of rough areas, PDI guy and the trip over the pond I suppose.
Most likely you will need to clay bar the car after you wash so go ahead and pick some up. Zaino is the best from what I hear but hey, your just claying it to get to the point of using Blackfire so...any mainstream brand may work well enough to get the crap off the finish.
First thing which became apparant was the need for very, very little product. It does go a long way! Other than that....its incredibly easy to apply. You will have no problems doing it.
Although my Z is PPW it really made a difference...smooth as glass and I can sure tell a difference in the looks!

I used Blackfire on my CS this past weekend.
I washed and dried the car, used the Mother's clay bar, re-washed and dried the car, applied the polish and removed it, applied the sealant and removed it. I was giong to go for a second coat of the sealant, but I ran short on time.
Both of the Blackfire products went on and came off easy.
Brad, will I have a problem if I re-wash the car this weekend, dry it, and then put on a second coat of sealant? Or would it be unnecessary work?
My digital pictures are at 1600 X 1200 resolution. How can I resize them to allow me to attach and still maintain the clairty (I don't want them to be grainy when I attach them).

Cool......keep the comments coming.....
Does a car on the road for 3 weeks, washed 3 times, have to be clay bared????........
Not looking for sympathy, but reality is I have 3 herniated disks in my lower back......so I am looking to keep this as easy as possible so I am not in agony all of the following week......
Just a simple wash keeps me hunched over for a few hours.....

It took me 3 hours to do the following:
1. Washed with Dawn and dried it
2. Claybar
3. Wash with Dawn and dry again - I dried everywhere including under the rocker panels, all door jambs and the rear hatch to get as much water off the car as possible.
4. Polish with Blackfire polish - It looked so good at this point I questioned whether I really need to seal it.
5. One coat of Blackfire sealant - It just sealed the great shine I had after the polish step.
6. One coat of Blackfire Quick detail spray - I didn't notice that this did anything except smell like cinnamon.
My car is Chrome Silver and I am happy to post pics., I just don't know how to do it on here since the files are on my HDD.

Heres what I would Recomend Getting:
ABC system (autoint.com)
Griots Garage Clay...though with ABC, not entirely nesecary (griotsgarage.com)
Eiman Fabrik Hi-Intensity (properautocare.com)
Blackfire Polish/Protectant/QD Spray (properautocare.com)
303 Aerospace Protectant. (proerautocare.com)
Griots Garage Interior Cleaner. (griotsgarage.com)
Get some towels at the store your wife/girlfreind probably gets em, as they have some nice 100% cotton towels, and get 2-3 Viper Microfiber Towels at properautocare.com (Big Blue is great for drying)
This is a great starter Kit, and I use all of these products regularly.

Looks like rain in NY all weekend
First off, great idea to put Blackfire info in one place.
2nd, thanks Brad for all the info!
Question time: Which Quick Detail spray is best. I.E.:
1) Blackfire Deep Gloss Spray
2) Pinnacle Crystal Mist Quick Detailer
3) Meguiars Final Inspection
4) Mothers
5) Eagle One
6) ?
I'm going to do the ABC thing, then Blackfire.
Question 2: I won't be getting my car till November/December DAMN, so, when is it too cold to polish/protect?
Question 3: Brad, when do we see pictures of your Silverstone Z?

I have two observations. First, the blue towels that come with the kit are great for buffing the product. Second is that the shine looked even better when the car was washed after the Blackfire application (better than it looked just after the initial application of the sealant). Not sure why that is.
I used two coats by the way.

I really recomend more than one coat, its much more durable.
Well, your problem will be the ABC system as far as temperatures go. The cars surface should be between 55-75º, so f its MUCH hotter/colder than that, its not as effective/could dry to quickly. As long as its above some 40º, you should be ok.
QD sprays. The Blackfire one is ok, and is suposed to lengthen the durability as it has some polymers in it, and if you use it after washing, it is slighjtly affective at that. If youwant to save money, and want to mainly use the spray bewteen washes when the car is slightly dusty (not enough to merrit washing but not so heavy that you could risk scratching), just get alot of Meguiars Final Inspection (the tan bottle).
No digital camera, so I will have to take film and scan
